Yes he's old, and yes he's not as great as he once was. Previous fifa rating was 82, safe to say i don't expect him to have rating as high as that at 38.
But, he was a beast in greece, has maintained that form in Asia. And If his physical shape stays healthy in Brazil then Ribo will be a huge hit, his left foot is still insanely good.

And he's 38 not 39.
The stats speak for themselves, he's looked after himself well and still remains a beast in front of goal and at set pieces.
If he done * and was declining badly, then i wouldn't defend the guy. But based on what i've seen it would harsh to give him poor stats when he's quite clearly still got a great left foot.|||
Still damn class, i hope his rating/attributes reflect this.
