Question about patch

Is it even possible to have the updated squads and stats in the offline mode? Career mode etc. If yes, how do you update it? (:

umm im pretty sure u just need a connection u don't need gold for patch updates so its actually free just like ps3 o-0|||

You do not need gold account for downloading the patches or squad updates, that's true. All you need to have a regular silver account and being connected to the internet.
